Why morals first?

This is a critical question to ask.  Just why should we worry about 'personal preference' choices?  The easy answer for a Christian is ... because God told us to.    That doesn't make sense for non-Christians, and unfortunately, for some Christians.   Here are some more specific reasons, although this not an exhaustive list.   These may make more logical sense, verifying God's simple truth.

From the political standpoint, the only candidate for any office that can help save our nation from the immorality surge, the moral decline and the increase in evil is one who fears God and puts moral issues ahead of other concerns.  Our nation otherwise has the prospect of imminent destruction, allowed by God including both internal and external forces.   If moral issues are first, we see financial worries decreasing, as much of the goverment's taxation goes to trying to fix moral problems, such as drug abuse, crime, out of wedlock mothers, etc.  Morals must be seen in the right light by the candidate or else the candidate is not worthy of a vote.  If the candidate neglects this truth, their efforts will continue the downward spiral (albeit at various speeds) toward a certain end, God's judgement.

By Christians not compromising on these moral values and God's word, whatever the cost, we should not fear His judgment.  Otherwise, well, you know...........

If Christians do not stand firm for God, who will?  His judgment will come if we don't seek His forgiveness and values.

We must repent now.  Don't wait till it is too late, or is it?
