Theft of a Nation A few years ago I had a discussion with a patriot friend that I still remember. I tried to correct this great man when he said that people have stolen our country. My point was that we are instead giving it away. Today, he is absolutely correct. To my credit, each of us have been at fault for not standing firm against such lawlessness. As we watch the attempt to steal an election play out, are we really going to allow those who lie, incite violence and take away our God given rights to destroy and change our country forever? Often countries are conquered by enemies. Now it could be by theft, accomplished by no opposition from an unaware, ignorant citizenry. The Democrat Party has embraced felonious and violent behavior by riots in the streets of cities. Thugs break windows of expensive shops (and others) to steal whatever the criminals want. Why wouldn't they steal the election? Their moral boundaries are fluid and one sided. Today, life itself, including free speech is suppressed, as is the rest of the Bill of Rights. Our founding documents, the Declaration and the Constitution are the backbone of our government. Do we really want to be told what we must do in every aspect of our lives as they are trying to absolutely put under their power forever? Wonderful people in our previous generations have fought and died to stop just this. The Democrat agenda is an elite globalist approach that steals our individual rights. The collective becomes paramount at the cost of the person. This too is the case with communism. Our government was based as the servant of the people, not the other way around. Individuals are more important than a department in the government. Governments come and go but the person will live in eternity. Individuals are more important than agendas. The whole purpose of the federal government is to protect our rights. Nikita Khrushchev, one of the Leninist dictators in the USSR said, ‘We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within.’ He also said: “We Leninists are convinced that our social order, socialism, will in the long run conquer capitalism. Democrats and other groups often financed by foreign money (laundered from our own U.S. currency distributed to other nations) Without this understanding, our lives have become a list of compliances to regulations set up by ungodly proclamations. Likely even worse than when we left King George and his tyranny. It is our turn to overthrow such evil. We need to remind ourselves of the brilliance of our framers. Our Declaration of Independence is short and sweet. The following needs remembering: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.” We cannot willingly allow such theft of our nation. Our children deserve a country that protects them and their freedoms, including the freedom of worshiping God as we see appropriate to please Him. If they get away with it, we will be under absolute Despotism! John Adams in 1776 wrote: Statesmen, my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone, which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue; and if this cannot be inspired into our people in a greater measure than they have it now, they may change their rulers and the forms of government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty. They will only exchange tyrants and tyrannies. President Trump has exposed the evil we suspected. May he find a way to clean out and fire those in the Department of Justice and other departments who refuse to follow the law. The evil ones’ survival (at least in the near term) requires illegal and unconstitutional actions that must be stopped. Lawbreakers must be punished when legitimate laws are broken! We have seen multiple kangaroo courts going after Trump and his supporters, some imprisoned on ridiculous charges. Yet, we see perjury from Christine Blasey Ford, illegal “leaks” from Adam Schiff, Hillary Clinton, Biden and others breaking laws, lies everywhere, voter fraud in the past, etc. without punishment! Without punishment we are all injured as the brazenness increases. Parts of cities are ruined without arresting the perpetrators. Our nation is moribund without return to God and His principles, restoring virtue. We can see how bad things have become when we witness evil being embraced and no one is punished. It will be up to each of us to do our duty, strongly opposing what we have accepted. We must double down to support those who are in the fight. We must insist on real punishment on those true lawbreakers, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, perjurers/liars, anonymous leakers and others destroying us. Without punishment of evil, for the evildoers there is no reason to stop. There is no protection of the people. James Madison wrote in 1788: I go on this great republican principle, that the people will have virtue and intelligence to select men of virtue and wisdom. Is there no virtue among us? If there be not, we are in a wretched situation. No theoretical checks-no form of government can render us secure. To suppose that any form of government will secure liberty or happiness without any virtue in the people, is a chimerical idea. If there be sufficient virtue and intelligence in the community, it will be exercised in the selection of these men. So that we do not depend on their virtue, or put confidence in our rulers, but in the people who are to choose them. With all the voter fraud being exposed, it seems we do outnumber those who side with lawlessness and who want to be controlled by government. We must not hate those who have been ‘useful idiots’ to their cause because of their lack of understanding when many have not been educated with truth. We must educate each other with founding documents. Noah Webster wrote (1832): The brief exposition of the constitution of the United States, will unfold to young persons the principles of republican government; and it is the sincere desire of the writer that our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament or the Christian religion. The religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of Christ and His apostles, which enjoins humility, piety, and benevolence; which acknowledges in every person a brother, or a sister, and a citizen with equal rights. This is genuine Christianity, and to this we owe our free Constitutions of Government. The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all of our civil constitutions and laws…All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible. When you become entitled to exercise the right of voting for public officers, lit it be impressed on your mind that God commands you to choose for rulers just men who will rule in the fear of God. The preservation of a republican government depends on the faithful discharge of this duty; If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes; Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded. If a republican government fails to secure public prosperity and happiness, it must be because the citizens neglect the divine commands, and elect bad men to make and administer the laws. We must oppose (with love) even minor discrepancies in interpretation. Schools must be brought under the people’s control once again instead of leftist’s indoctrination. We can easily disagree on policy matters and debate through the issues until the Constitution shows an approach illegal. Above all, we must realize Christianity is truth. Because we do not have fear of other religions or lies, we are truly tolerant of other viewpoints until they become destructive of our country. Patrick Henry declared: It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here. We never call for book burning as the Marxist Democrats do as they teach revisionist history lies. We would not censor wrong thoughts displayed on social media as they have done. We know truth will win in the end as Jesus Christ called Himself Truth. John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Remember, we Christians have won but we must stay in the battle well. If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all battle fields besides, is mere flight and disgrace if he flenches at that point. My friend was right. Let us each do our part, and may God bless our efforts. Every person’s life, both here and in their eternal afterlife in heaven or condemnation to hell (without submission to Christ), is affected by our actions or inactions. Let us be faithful and please God helping rescue as many as He calls. |
