home church state leaders lead1
|Who dares write these pages, leaders may ask?
You have no right to tell us these things! How dare you speak to us this way when we have worked for years as God's servants! You criticize us but you don't know what it is like! You will be judged by God!
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God -breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
It is true that if these words were not from God, they would be a mistake. It is true that even though there has been countless hours of prayer and Biblical study regarding the content on this site, God has not chosen to speak through a Damascus road experience or a burning bush.
During those days, God often spoke directly to a prophet to accomplish His purposes. If that was being claimed here, that God intervened in a miraculous way to bring this unfavorable message, that would almost certainly be met with cries of blasphemy. Gladly that is not the case. The right to make these remarks comes from scripture.
It is not insignificant that the scripture above starts with "all". We cannot ignore any of the Old Testament. When we look at a given scripture, we must view it in context with the rest of the Bible. As long as the words on this web site square with God's inerrant Word, the statements here cannot be dismissed. We need no other justification for these words. Non-scriptural cultural bias accounts for much of today's church's errors.
It is true that no delight is taken criticizing God's anointed leaders. Indeed, this is not the intent but merely to point out the errors of the church so lives will be saved and rewards received. Many of you have worked tirelessly and deserve great credit. True some are being saved today. Unfortunately, the church is stagnant today in this nation. When we find out we are working hard and failing, we shouldn't work harder, we should regroup and work better. God's guidance is necessary for success in His work.
Ah! But you say, that this is not practical enough for dealing with our world today. These words are too idealistic and fail the practical test!
Were these words practical in Babylon? Rome? Sudan, Indonesia or China today? God's Word is never practical. We don't have to understand it, He simply calls us to faithfulness to it.
Yes, we will all be judged by God (Christ). Those words cut with a two-edged sword. These words are written with confidence, not merely a 'feeling' but confidence from knowing Him who wrote the Book for our guidance, and studying the message therein. God's Word hasn't failed yet.
In summary, it is reasonable to ask why you should consider the content on these pages. The answers are sufficient. If you should disagree, you invite peril upon yourself. God's Word is Sufficient!!
