Iran, China and God

At the high risk of being ostracized and marginalized, I expect to go into a lonely place for the time being.  No one wants to hear this warning.  We desperately need the Holy Spirit to open people’s eyes.  If this begins to help awaken folks, perhaps we will find God is at work and some will be saved.  In fact, I reluctantly put this out there.  The hesitancy only flows from years of experience trying to awaken American Christians with how far we have fallen.

At best this warning will awaken us to our desperate need to petition God for repentance and protection.  At worst, this will become another missed opportunity by Americans (and others) to ask for forgiveness before it is too late, whether there is an ongoing war or not, leaving many to spend eternity in hell.

It is March 5, 2026 when I first start this note.  We are a few days into the military conflict and have achieved great successes with the carefully drafted and well implemented plans.  And, by the way, I am a deeply pro-American citizen praying for our beloved nation and neighbors.  It grieves me I may be right!  Yet as we watch the current news, having learned from history and prophecy, I would be remiss to keep it to myself.  Like the watchman on the wall, I cannot bear the guilt for being silent for not warning, leaving blood on my hands.

Iran’s military has been severely diminished and we have watched incredibly overwhelming success so far.  ‘May this continue’ is my deep desire to accomplish multiple positive goals.  These include removing Iran’s leadership from having a nuclear weapon, removing their ability to fight proxy wars and spew an evil hatred of those who do not bow to their false god by killing those who do not agree with them, including their own citizens.

Hey- guess we are looking pretty militarily successful so far, excluding the loss of life.

We know this may play out well and it seems we are invincible in this setting.  Concern, however, finds us at a fragile point in time when we take off our rose-colored glasses and see who we really are.  Unintended consequences from this adventure have heightened.

Iran calls us the Great Satan.  How I wish I could laugh at such a claim.  Undoubtedly the Mullahs and Ayatollahs really are demonically evil and are rapidly descending into hell.  But…can we claim we aren’t going to the same place?  Honestly and critically look at ourselves.

Our U.S. government and most of our people have departed from the plain scriptural teaching that led to the birth of the original 13 colonies and nation.

·       Truth has been thrown to the ground.  Democrat politicians take the oath of office promising upholding the constitution and they violate that as soon as it has been said.  They cannot wait to jump in and lie about it and destroy it as they hate our constitution and our founding by honorable men.  They openly want to destroy our Constitution making them liars in violation of the primary law of the land.

·       Lies from politicians have led to Americans being killed in Minneapolis and elsewhere.  Laws are twisted to treat people differently.

·       School/mass shootings glorifying evil and criminals

·       Our citizenry embraces mind altering drugs and alcohol.

·       Homosexuality is embraced, even to the point of “trans” and criminal treatment of children.

·       Our pride undoubtedly angers God as His scriptures show.  He desires our humility and a contrite heart.  He hates greed and self-centeredness.

·       Abortion.

·       Human trafficking and slavery.

·       We deny our sins.  We lack thankfulness for all He has done for us.

·       We love money greater than God Himself.  Debt is beyond our ability to repay.

·       Many are perishing and going to hell without Christ, being unrepentant and lacking desire to give ourselves to living as Christ would have us live.

·       Since the churches often are not preaching the whole scripture of God including the fear of God and sin, God may choose to punish us further to awaken us of our need for salvation and so some will be rescued.

That last point and seeking what God says about it in the scriptures has been the main purpose of this web site for over a decade.  This is coming as prophecy in the scriptures is being fulfilled before our eyes.

Consider the words of Abraham Lincoln in 1863, calling for a National Day of Prayer and fasting.  He said:

Whereas, the Senate of the United States devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for national prayer and humiliation:

And whereas, it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history; that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord:

And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisement in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people?

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as not other nation has ever grown.

But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own.

Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us!

It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

Now, therefore, in compliance with the request and fully concurring in the view of the Senate, I do, by this my proclamation, designate and set apart Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1863, as a day of national humiliation, fasting and prayer.

And I do hereby request all the people to abstain on that day from their ordinary secular pursuits, and to unite, at their several places of public worship and their respective homes, in keeping the day holy to the Lord and devoted to the humble discharge of the religious duties proper to that solemn occasion.

All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the nation will be heard on high and answered with blessing no less than the pardon of our national sins and the restoration of our now divided and suffering country to its former happy condition of unity and peace.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the United States to be affixed. By the President: Abraham Lincoln.

It is most dangerous to set ourselves up to fight a war without our own repentance first, as we have been angering God Himself, in great need of punishment for our myriads of sins.  Daniel 8 prophecy and others seem to be playing out, perhaps right now!  Our nation is of incredible strength where no one could stand against us and yet our own internal strength is fractured leading to a reason to break apart.  Perhaps we will break from a nuclear weapon, civil war and/or other factors, including God.  We have done our best to ignore just how devastating all this would be.

I expect President Trump is acting in his sincere desire to help our nation.  They have had prayer in the Oval Office over this conflict.  Have we begged God’s forgiveness for our many sins yet?  No, we have no fear of God. Praying for “healing” is a step in the right direction but we will still fall into the water when we miss the step of repentance.  In fact, most want to preserve our broken ’way of life’ and not healing as the prayer centered on.  We should applaud this desire for healing ourselves and save the Persians trapped in the worst form of government, but we must repent to plead our case for God to empower us to do His will.

Where is the call for Repentance?  Not in that prayer.

Another concern not being raised but in light of the above, could we be nuked?  Media and the government claim that it was averted.  I pray this is right.  Yet, by cornering the Islamists, we know they have had weapons grade uranium available and for us to believe that they don’t have a nuclear bomb is absurd.  They have had enough time and have been belligerent to inspectors and have occasional ‘earthquakes’.  They bragged they could hide their stockpile from inspectors.

To think their long-range missile program is the only way to deliver such a weapon is absurd too.  Couldn’t they float one into New York harbor in a small fishing boat or other unexpected way?  Do we know there aren’t any already hidden in our country with our open borders, drug and people trafficking.

They could have purchased nuclear weapons from the old Soviet Union stockpiles when it had broken up and the overseers weren’t getting paid by the new government and some have not been accounted for.  North Korea could have sold some.  Of course, a “dirty” bomb is still a weapon of mass destruction and it needs no further processing to get there.

China?

Japan joined Germany starting WWII in large part due to America’s oil embargo against Japan.  Aside from Iran’s government, China has the most to lose if the US prevails.  Their oil supply is greatly diminished and expensive.  Their trade based on slavery may well slow down.  They could see Trump’s administration as their biggest threat and would be glad to assist Iran to harm us if they can stay as hidden as possible.  Oh, yes, they have nuclear weapons.

In summary, we must beg for God’s mercy and in humility ask for His forgiveness.  Only then can we be reassured God Himself is not punishing us for our awful behavior, soiling His name as a “Christian Nation”.  Shame on us.

We must then prayerfully ask God’s protection and wisdom to appropriately deal with our dilemma.  Otherwise, it is highly likely this excursion into Iran will not go well and we will be hurt much more than anticipated, largely for our having left God.  From a believer’s standpoint, what counts most is to appreciate God using this opportunity to awaken us.

We believers who fear God, and only believers, will be rescued with His love when our time on earth has ended.  Without repentance and Christ’s forgiveness as portrayed in the Holy Bible, sins will be punished in this world and forever in hell.
