Abortion

Psalms 106:37 They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. 38 They shed innocent blood , the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood . 39 They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves. 40 Therefore the LORD was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance. 41 He handed them over to the nations, and their foes ruled over them. 42 Their enemies oppressed them and subjected them to their power.

To whom do we sacrifice our daughters and sons?  Could the "demons" and the "idols of Canaan" be selfishness and craving for money and the things money can buy?  These clearly have become our gods in the United States today.  The reasons for choosing an abortion center around the financial cost and loss of pleasure (or convenience) when dealing with an 'unwanted' child.  Are we ready to realize that we need to fear God?  The scriptures above warns us.  If we fail to see that now, God will painfully make it clear to us in His time, possibly soon.  We must repent and end this self-destruction before God does the same in a much tougher way.  And He will.  God help us.
