1996 Lesson

The 1996 Presidential election was a great example to all Christians.  We should learn from our mistakes.

Alan Keyes was a wonderful choice for an intelligent, experienced and, most importantly, morality espousing candidate during the Republican primaries.   Unfortunately, he was shut out by the elite's and their spin that told people it was a waste to vote for him.  People everywhere were impressed with the clarity of his message that put God first.  Despite this, he was snubbed by the leadership as they planned a more 'centrist' candidate that fit their agenda, not taking into account what was best for the country.  Even though Keyes was no longer a possibility in the general elections, we had choices to make.

Let us see what happens and what may have happened when we choose one of the following candidates for President.

Bill Clinton             (Democratic Party)

Bob Dole                 (Republican Party)

Ross Perot              (Reform Party)

Howard Phillips     (U.S. Taxpayers Party)

Harry Browne         (Libertarian Party) (and others)
